Clyde Cotton, 64, of Cave City, died Dec. 6, 2006, at his home.

He was born May 18, 1942, at Rosewell, N.M., the son of C. J . and Vina (Weston) Cotton.

He was a former minister, a retired farmer and of the Missionary Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Tena (Billbrey) Cotton of the home; one son, Charles Cotton of Cave City; one daughter Jamie Pounds of Calamine; two brothers, Eldon Cotton and Alan Cotton both of Calamine; six grandchildren Clayton Pounds, Brandon Pounds and Elizabeth Pounds all of Calamine, Paden Cannon and Trisha Cannon both of Pfeiffer and Walker Cannon of Calico Rock; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Roxie Qualls.

The funeral services were held Dec. 9 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Grayden Milligan officiating.

Burial followed in the Parsley Cemetery located east of Cave City with arrangements being made under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Pallbearers were Shandy Cannon, Kelly Cannon, Jerry Gibbs, Darrell Parsley, Larry Thompson and Charles Hutchison

Honorary pallbearers were Charlie Boles and William Boles.
