Marty Sellers, President and Chief Operating Officer at FNBC, announces the promotion of Rita Newman to Security Officer and Bank Secrecy Act Officer.
Newman began her career with FNBC in 2002. She has held positions as teller, system support technician, security officer assistant and others. "Rita is very dedicated to her job and the team at FNBC," said Dana Batterton, Chief Risk Officer for FNBC. "She has tremendous responsibilities with her new position. With her good work ethic and great attitude, she will flow into the position with ease."
Newman received an associate of arts degree and general banking diploma from Ozarka College and a bachelor of science in management Information Systems from Arkansas State University.
Newman and her husband, James, have two children, son Brandon, age 19, and daughter-in-law Sarah, age 20; and daughter Tracy, age 14. They reside in Salem and attend the Salem First Baptist Church.
