Lisa Wooldridge of Thayer, Mo., received her Airman Certificate for private pilot, airplane, single engine land, rating on Jan. 2.
Wooldridge attended Sky Venture Aviation Flight Training Center in Jonesboro, Ark., for her preparation for her check ride.
Sky Venture Aviation, located in Jonesboro and Fayetteville, Ark., provide training in the Aviation Industry with full time staffed CFI pilots and services such as Airplane rental and pilot supplies. Potential airman are able to receive a private pilot, commercial pilot, instrument rating, single engine, or multi engine rating.
Wooldridge's brother, Bert Rodgers of Mountain Home, Ark., was her initial and default instructor. Rodgers is a captain for Net Jets. Net Jets, created the concept of fractional jet ownership and has a large fleet of corporate jets, including the Cessna Citation Sovereign, that travel the airways Worldwide.
Rodgers holds an Airline Transport Certificate, with a commercial, instrument, and certified instructor's license, along with a multi engine/turbine rating.
George Myers, of Pomona, Mo., also assisted Wooldridge in her training to receive her certificate.
Wooldridge's father, Phillip Rodgers, taught her to fly at the Thayer Memorial Airport.
