Ozella L. Wilkes, 94, of Evening Shade, Ark., died Feb. 13, 2008, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She as born Aug. 3, 1913, at Evening Shade, Ark., the daughter of Lee and Mary Louise (Runsick) Duncan.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Piney Fork Church of Christ in Evening Shade.
Survivors include: one sister, Edna Barnes of Cave City; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Everett Wilkes; four brothers, Arthur Duncan, Truie Duncan, Otho Duncan and Everett Duncan; and three sisters, Louise Jones, Bertha Jones and Jeffie Lewis.
Funeral services were held Feb. 15 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Gerald Bolin officiating. Burial followed in the Evening Shade Cemetery located at Evening Shade with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Virgil Kunkel, Jimmie Kunkel, Junior Runsick, Juney Smith Kenny Duncan and Bobby Johnston.
Honorary pallbearers were Skip Franks and David Kunkel.
