Charles "Ronnie" Morgan and Charleen Ruth Taylor Morgan will celebrate 50 years of marriage, June 13. Charleen and Chuck were married in Anderson, Ind., and lived the majority of their married life in California, where they raised two sons and a daughter. They also lived a brief time in the Philippine's while Chuck worked for the government.
In the 1970s Charleen and Chuck started doing electronic work in a small home based shop. By the 1980s the small company had grown to 150 employees and a much larger building. CCMEi, (C & C Morgan Enterprises), did electronic work for Boeing, McDonald Douglas and Rockwell; including parts for the B-1 Bomber and the C-140 gun plane.
In 2000, Charleen and Chuck retired and moved to Oxford. Their retirement, however, was short lived, as in 2002 they found themselves again working on aircraft electronic assemblies, amongst other electronic work, and continue to do so today.
Although Charleen and Chuck have yet to fully retire, they do enjoy camping and fishing and spending time with friends and family.
