Chris Allen Bodkins, 16, of Williford died Sept. 23, 2006.
He was born Jan. 7, 1990, in Helena, Ark., the son of Riley Cossey and Angalina Bodkins. He was a student at Williford High School and was a Junior Firefighter for Williford Volun-teer Fire Department
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Angalina and Bill Cossey of Willford; his father and step-mother, Riley Cossey and Betty Miller of Brinkley; his girlfriend, Tiffany Stricklin of Williford; one son, Landon Blake-Allen Bodkins of Williford; his grandparents, Ruben and Shirley Bodkins of Brinkley; 11 brothers and sisters, Steven Bodkins of Brinkley, Jason Cossey of Brassville, Timothy Cossey of Clinton, Jonathan Cossey, Ricky Cossey and Joseph Cossey all of Brinkley, Amanda Bodkins, Jeremy Bodkins, Billie Jo Cossey and Trace Cossey all of Williford and Delana Miller of Brinkley; four nieces and one nephew and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Earline Cossey; one brother, Joshua Bodkins; and two uncles, Mattix Cossey and Billy Mixon.
The funeral services were held Sept. 27 at Williford High School Gymnasium with Tom O'Neal officiating. Burial followed in the Cossey Family Cemetery at Williford with arrangements under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home of Hardy.
Pallbearers were Nicholas Roberts, Matthew Miles, Caleb Pierce, John Johnson, Ronnie McLintock and Israel Hester.
Honorary pallbearers were Tom Cooney, Chris Baskin, Jim Russell, Mike Lavy, Ronnie Byrd, Brandon Bettis, Cleatus Blake and Ruben Bodkins Jr.
