Travis and Reba Callahan and Don and Rosetta Gillham announce the marriage of their children, Dr. Neal Callahan and Jennifer Prince. The couple was married May 25 at the home of the bride's parents in Springfield, Mo., with Rev. Raymond Lasseter and Rev. Britt Ray officiating.
Jack Callahan, brother of the groom, served as best man and Emily Prince, daughter of the bride, was maid of honor. Neal is a graduate of Thayer High School and the University of Missouri Rolla. Jennifer graduated from Evangel University and Missouri State University in Springfield. Mo.
The newlyweds are making their home in Springfield where the groom is a professor at Missouri State University and the bride is a teacher at Logan Upper Elementary School in Rogersville, Mo.
A drop-in reception will be held Sunday, June 24 at the First Baptist Christian Activity Center 420 Chestnut, Thayer, Mo., from 2-4 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The groom is the grandson of the late Carl and Doshia Callahan and Lonnie and Anna Mae Paxton. The bride is the granddaughter of the late Frank and Dolly McCrorey and Ivan and Wilma Gillham.
