Adam Lane French, 14, was born March 19, 1993, in Jonesboro, Ark., the son of John and Terri French of Hardy, Ark. He died May 25, 2007, in Memphis, Tenn. Adam dedicated his life to Christ on May 29, 2005. He attended the Highland Assembly of God Church.
He attended Highland High School and just completed the 8th grade. He was a member of the Highland Junior football team and played summer baseball for the Highland Summer League baseball program.
He loved hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycles, and playing baseball and football.
Survivors include: his parents, John and Terri French of the home; one sister, Morgan Brittany French of the home; maternal grandparents Danny and Donna Cruse of Hardy; paternal grandparents, Kenny and Peggy French of Hardy; great-grandmother, Allie Mc-Bride of Ash Flat; great-grandparents, Don and Sybil Mc-Bride of Aurora, Mo.; great-grandfather, Kenneth French of Agnos; great-grandfather, Don Hancock of Rock Falls, Ill.; uncles and aunts, Jeff and Tricia Jordan of Hardy, Mike French of Hardy, Paul and Amanda French of Hardy, Ruthie French of Hardy; cousins, Colby and Dani Jordan, Donnie and Jake French, Curren French, Chrsyln Rodriquez and Joshua Miller all of Hardy; and other family members and friends; and his best buddy Woody, his dog.
He was preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents, Paul and Opal Cruse of Williford; paternal great-grand- mother, Betty Hancock of Rock Falls, Ill.; paternal great-grandmother, Ruth French of Agnos; paternal great-great-grandparents, Les and Alpha French, and a maternal great-great-aunt, Bonnie Davis of Hardy.
Funeral services were held May 30 at Highland High School Gymnasium with Nathan Hubbard and Johnny Carter officiating.
Burial followed in the French Cemetery near Cherokee Village. Arrange-ments were under the direction of Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
Pallbearers were Mike French, Paul French, Jeff Jordan, Jeff McEntire, Marc Phillips and?John Sinclair.
Honorary pallbearers were the Highland?Junior High Foot -ball coaches and team members and the Highland Summer League Miller's Leather Shop" coaches and team members.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made at the Highland Junior High football program or to the ?Highland Summer League Baseball program.
