Jeff Mosal, 31, of North Fairview Road, Mammoth Spring, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault in the fourth degree.
According to Johnny Byler with the Fulton County Sheriff's Office, Mosal is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old female.
Byler said that on Nov. 18, he took a written statement from the victim who said that Mosal had engaged in sexual intercourse with her on two different occasions.
Jannette Cooper, an investigator with the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division interviewed the victim on Nov. 19. According to the report, she told Cooper that the incidents took place at Mosal's home on Nov. 12 and Nov. 16 and that Mosel knew she was 15.
Byler and Cooper interviewed Mosal on Nov. 19 and Mosal admitted the two incidents took place, according to the report. Mosal further stated he was aware of the female victim's age and had know the victim for approximately eight years. Mosal had previously been engaged in a long-term relationship with the victim's older sister, the report said.
