Tint O. Masner Jr., 82, of Bartlett, Tenn., died on May 22, 2007, at the Kings Daughters and Sons Home in Bartlett, Tenn.

He was born Sept. 4, 1924, at Cave City, Ark., the son of Tint Oscar and Elvie Jane (Johnson) Masner.

He served in the Civilian Conservation Corp in 1940, became a U.S. Marine in 1941, serving during World War II.

He was a barber for 25 years, owned and operated a salvage business for 30 years.

He was a member of the Daylight Lodge in Memphis, Tenn., where he was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a member of the Munford Baptist Church in Munford, Tenn.

Survivors include: one son, Ronald David Masner of Chattanooga, Tenn; two daughters, Elizabeth Jane Dawson and husband, Gibbons, of Atoka, Tenn., and Cindy Rebecca Ferlitto and husband,?Paul, of Wilsonville, Ala.; four brothers, Charles William Masner and wife, Clotene, of Anthony, Kan., Boyce Neil Masner and wife, Shirley, of Memphis, Tenn., Tommy Lee Masner and wife, Floy, of Cave City and Jimmie Sloan Masner of Rogers, Ark.; seven grandchildren, Debra Elizabeth Davis and husband Mark, Jason Jonathan Gibbons Dawson and wife Bridgette, Adam Carter Winston Dawson, Justin David Ferlitto and wife Laura, Jill Anna Rank and husband Patrick, Amy Jean Masner and husband Robert and Rachel Anne Smith and husband Todd; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; his beloved shepherd dog Shannon; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Paul Glen Masner and Edward Eugene Masner.

The funeral services were held on May 25 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Ron Cannard and Bro. L.J. Gay officiating.

Burial followed at the Maxville Cemetery with Masonic rites and military honors being held.

The arrangements were under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City, Ark.

Pallbearers were Jason Dawson Justin Ferlitto, Adam Dawson, Mark Davis, Glen Robert Masner, Gary Masner, and Shan Masner.
