Samuel Clinton Leu, was born May 20, 1934, in Thayer, ?Mo., the son of Albert B. Leu and Lucy Grooms Leu of May 20, 1934, in Thayer, Mo., and died May 2, 2007, in West Plans, Mo., at the age of 72.
He was united in marriage Dec. 22, 1957, at Alton,?Mo., to Secretha Sullivan. He was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by: his wife, Secretha, of the family home near Alton; three children, Cheryl Allmon and husband, Bill of Union, Mo., Allen Leu and wife, Vera of Alton and Kimberly Fuller and husband Ron of Thayer; five grandchildren, Sara Nicholson and husband Farrell of Mammoth Spring, Rebecca Banks and husband Ben of Walnut Ridge, Ark., Tonya Shehorn of Springfield, Mo., Tyler Shehorn of Bolivar, Mo., and Greg Fuller of Thayer; two great-grandchildren, Anna Nicholson and Treyton Terrill; one brother, George Leu and wife, Margaret of Alton; one sister, Alice Johnson and husband, Doyle of Couch, Mo.; several nephews and nieces; including a special niece, Diann Pickett of Couch; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were May 4 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Robinson and Farrell Nicholson officiating. Burial followed in the Norman Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of ?Thayer.
