Funeral services for Lucille Chronister, 83, of West Plains, were held April 4, in the Rose Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home in West Plains.

Mrs. Chronister died April 1, 2007, at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Springfield, Mo.

She was born Feb. 3, 1924, in Cardwell, Mo., to William Bryan and Hattie Goodwin Muse Crask. On July 11, 1942, she was married in Oregon County, Mo., to Dorlas Edward Chronister.

Before her retirement, she was employed for 27 years at Wallace and Owens. She also loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Chronister was a member of the Curry Street Church of Christ for 11 years.

She is survived by: her husband, Dorlas Edward Chronister, of the family home; three children, Gary Chronister wife, Brenda, Gamaliel, Ark., Becky Henry, husband Lynn, West Plains and Jennifer Rebardie, husband, Warren, West Plains; five grandchildren, Jeff Chronister, Greg Chronister, Pam Tackitt, Megan Dorris and Kikki Rebardie; six great-grandchildren, Danielle Chronister, Benjamin Chronister, Jackson Chronister, Carter Chronister, Hayley, Tackitt and Kierstin, Tackitt; one sister, May Boren, husband, Gene, of Alton, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents; one great-granddaughter, Sydney Faith Chronister; and five brothers, Edgar Crask, Buford Crask, William Muse, L.T. Crask and Bob Crask, preceded her in death.

Burial followed the funeral services at the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Alton, Mo.
