Nina Williams died Feb. 21, 2007, at the age of 102.
She was born Dec. 17, 1904, and was raised in Mammoth Spring, where she met her late husband John T. Williams. One of her greatest joys was raising her only daughter, Betty Jeane Dasbach, who preceded her in death.
John and Nina retired to Eldon, Mo. and enjoyed their cabin located at the Lake of the Ozarks.
She was a member of Mammoth Spring United Methodist Church and later Eldon United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Williams spent her later years in Wentzville, Mo., and her last two years in Greenville, SC. She will be missed by her three grandchildren, Stephen Dasbach, Vicki Webb and Michele Miller, and eight great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by: her parents, Dr. Henry S. and Lena Wooldridge Morris; and her sisters, Hila Gillespie, Auda Culver, Lora Lee Oliver, Freddie Ann Serey, and Mary Elizabeth Morris.
Visitation will be held March 3 from 3-4 p.m. with a memorial service immediately following at Phillips Funeral Home, in Eldon, Mo.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Breast Cancer Society.
