Patricia Sue Richmond, of Salem, daughter of Mae Laymon Dawson Wray and the late Bobby Howard Dawson, was born Aug. 12, 1952, in West Plains. She died Dec. 22, 2006, at the Hospice House in Mountain Home at the age of 54.
She was a 1970 graduate of Viola High School and also graduated from a school of cosmetology. She owned and operated Guys and Gals Beauty Shop in Viola for many years.
She was united in marriage to Tommy Richmond on Aug. 3, 2003, in Salem. She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy, of the family home in Salem; her mother, Mae Dawson Wray, and step-father, Leland Wray, of West Plains; her step-children, Robin Jones and Ronny Richmond and his wife, Jurlene, all of Viola; her step-grandchildren, Ashley Mathews, LeAllison Jones and Dustin Richmond; her sister, Diana Oberholz and her husband, Jerry of Green Valley, Mo.; her brother, David Dawson, and his wife, Mary, of Viola; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The funeral services were held Dec. 24 at the Cox-Blevins Chapel in Salem. Burial followed in the Viola Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
