Edith Pauline Robertson was born the daughter of James O. Standage and Minnie Mabell Harris Standage on Nov. 29, 1920, in Tuckerman, Ark.
She died on Oct. 28, 2006, at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Mo., at the age of 85.
She was united in marriage Aug. 6, 1938, in Salem, Ark., to Carl Lester Robertson who preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 1988.
She was employed by Riverview Motel, working 25 years and was a faithful member of Midway Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by four sons, James Robertson of Goodman, Mo., Harold Robertson and wife Norma, Robert Robertson and fiancee Heidy Korver and Mike Robertson and wife Tina all of Thayer, Mo.; five daughters, Veneda Swetnam of Batesville, Ark., Francis Anderson and husband John of Melbourne, Patsy Hawkins and husband Ray of Batesville, Carolyn Clark and husband Mark of Hot Springs, Ark., Kathryn Rogers and husband Mike of Mammoth Spring; 33 grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; several step grandchildren; one brother, Jeff Standage and wife Thresa of San Antonio, Texas; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Alene Standage; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; three sons-in-law, Roger Swetnam, Willie Pendarvis and Bill Cantrell and one daughter-in-law, Velma Robertson.
The funeral services were held on Oct. 31 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Rev. Charles Barnett officiating.
Burial followed in the Moten Cemetery near Mammoth Spring with arrangements under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
