Hayden William James Hall, son of the late William Hall and Blodwen Williams Hall, was born Nov. 27, 1925, in Swansea, Wales. He died Nov. 4, 2006, at his home in Horseshoe Bend at the age of 80. He was united in marriage to Gertrude Murdock on Sept. 1, 1955 in Dover, Wis.
He served in the British National Guard during the Korean War. Before retiring to Horseshoe Bend, he lived in Wisconsin and worked as an electrician. He was employed by Bohm Electric in Racine, Wis., for many years. He was of the Episcopalian faith.
Hall is survived by four sons and one daughter-in-law, Bernard Hall of Union Grove, Wis., Thomas Hall of Milwaukee, Wis., William Hall of Union Grove and Robert and Yolanda Hall of Dover; seven grandchildren; Yolanda Hall, Atosha Hall, Katie Guardiola, Haydn Hall, Elizabeth Hall, Bernard Hall Jr., and David Hall; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral services were held Nov. 11 in Wisconsin. No local services were planned. Arrangements were under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
