Martha Mae Lundry, was born on April 26, 1941, the daughter of Benjamin H. Holl-away and Nancy Elizabeth Phillips Hollaway, on April 26, 1941 in Tyronza, Ark., and died May 5, 2007, in Koshkonong, Mo., at the age of 66 years.
She was united in marriage Feb. 7, 1960, at Myrtle, Mo., to Joel Lundry who preceded her in death June 10, 1993.
Besides being a homemaker, she was a certified nurses aide, devoting her talent to caring for other people. She was of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by: one son, Joel Leon Lundry, Jr. and wife, Michelle of Salem, Ark.; one daughter, Virginia Cunningham and husband, Garry of Camp, Ark.; eight grandchildren, Hanne Lundry, Tonya Lundry, Jodi Collins,?Kayla Cunning-ham, Leon Lundry, Cody Collins, Amber Cunningham and Kaitlyn Lundry; one great-grandchild; a brother, Charles Hollaway and wife, Lucille of Couch, Mo.; two sisters, Joline Rudesill of Thayer,?Mo., and Pearline Kelley and husband, Kenneth of Tucson, Ariz.; severa nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband,?Joel; one son, Joseph Nathan Lundry; one daughter, Marthana Beth Collins; and one brother, Bennie Hollaway.
Funeral services were held May 8 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel with Frank Wise officiating. Burial followed in Koshkonong Cemetery with arrangements by Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
