Christine Dillard of Rogers, Ark., was born May 8, 1911 at Couch, Mo., the daughter of Samuel O. Reeves and Bessie Bryan Reeves.
She lived in Thayer until her marriage to Vernon C. Dillard of Mammoth Spring.
She died Sept. 6, 2006, in the Eureka Springs Municipal Hospital at the age of 95.
They moved to Berryville, Ark., in 1952 and then to Rogers in 1956.
She worked as a bookkeeper for the Linkway Stores and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Christ's Church of Rogers.
She lived in Rogers until moving to a retirement home in Holiday Island.
Survivors include one son, James D. Dillard of Batesville; one daughter, Kathryn Greenlee of Eureka Springs; one sister, Wanda M. Baker of Thayer; four grandsons; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Aline and one son-in-law, Roger; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Vernon C. Dillard; two brothers; one granddaughter, Billie Jean Flowers; and one grandson, Michael K. Greenlee.
Graveside services were held in Riverview Cemetery at Mammoth Spring Sept. 8 with arrangements under the direction of Willis-Hays Funeral Service of Batesville.
