Mary Fay McCullough, 78, of Salem, daughter of the late Hugh and Fay Olga (Richardson) Isbell, was born on Nov. 26, 1927, in Kirbyville, Texas. She died July 26, 2006, in Salem.
She was united in marriage to John Raymond McCullough on Jan. 31, 1946 at Vallejo, Calif., and to this union two sons were born. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked as a secretary. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Daughter of American Revolution (Strawberry River Chapter) and the United Methodist Women.
Survivors includes her husband, John R. McCullough of Salem; two sons, Jackie Gene McCullough of Raytown, Tenn., and Bobby Ray McCullough of Louisville, Ky.; a brother, John Ed Isbell of Mountain Home; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Henry Hugh Isbell.
Funeral services were July 29 at the Salem United Methodist Church in Salem, with Bro. Marion Fleming officiating.
Interment followed in the Morriston Cemetery, Morriston, Ark., with arrangements under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem.
Pallbearers were Brian McCullough, Clint McCullough, Kevin Singer, Roger Isbell, Cindy Isbell and Karen Isbell.
Honorary pallbearers were Scott McCullough and Jeffrey McCullough.
Memorials preferred to the Salem United Methodist Church.
