Gilbert Richard Razinha Sr., 78, of Mammoth Spring, Ark., was born Sept. 2, 1929, in FairHaven, Maine, and died Feb. 29, 2008, at his home.
He was an active member of the Mammoth Spring VFW, Thayer American Legion and George D. Hay Foundation.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary (Hallum) Razinha of the home; one son, Gilbert Razinha Jr. of Jonesboro, Ark.; two daughters, Kim Schamel and Rhonda Moritz, both of Colorado; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Alice Cavalieri of Ohio, Shirley Razinha of Indiana, Mary Squaires of Michigan and Norine Hamm of Iowa; one brother, Rick Razinha of Florida; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Joseph and Leonora Rogers-Razinha; three brothers, Larry, Willy and Bobby; and one sister, Joyce Darnell.
Visitation and VFW?services were held ?March 3 in the Clary Funeral Home in Mammoth Spring. The body was cremated with burial to be held at a later date in the Riverside Cemetery in Mammoth Spring.
