Marles G. Mayberry, 47, of Versailles, Mo., died May 28, 2006, at St. Mary's Health Center.
She was born Feb. 14, 1959, in Bridgeton, Mo., the daughter of Carles F. and Frances C. Allen Mayberry, both deceased.
A resident of the Central Missouri area for the past seven years, she graduated from Ft. Zumwalt High School in O'Fallon, Mo., and Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
She was employed as an elementary school teacher in Couch, Mo., and for the past several years taught middle school at the Morgan County R-I School in Versailles.
She was a member of the Missouri State Teachers Association and was a Girl Scout leader and cheerleading sponsor in Couch.
Survivors include one sister, Rita Schneider and her husband Ron of Couch, Mo., two brothers, C. Wayne Mayberry and his wife Charlene of St. Charles, Mo., and James M. Mayberry and his wife, Mary Elizabeth of Myrtle, Mo., and four nieces; and four nephews.
A memorial service was held at the Morgan County District R-2 Middle School in Versailles June 2 and in Myrtle Mo., on June 3.
Those desiring to may make memorial contributions to the Girl Scouts of America.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the the Freeman Mortuary of Jefferson City, Mo.
