Norma Lee Campbell died June 4, 2006, at her home in Alton at the age of 72.
She was born Aug. 15, 1933, in Alton the daughter of the late Lloyd and Grace Watson Campbell.
She was united in marriage Oct. 28, 1951, in Salem, Ark., to Paul Campbell who preceded her in death July 30, 1988.
She together with her husband, Paul, owned and operated the Greer and Hickory Grove country stores for many years.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Gloria Bridges and husband Kenneth of Alton, Terry Smith and husband Roger of Alton, and Pamela Wilson and husband Michael of West Plains; eight grandchildren, Greg Bridges and wife Tracy of Alton, Joe Bridges and wife Carrie of Alton, Bradley Bridges and wife Kassie of Mammoth Spring, Jason Bridges and wife Brandi of Dora, Tracy Girdley and husband Larry of Alton, Paul Smith and wife Traci of Alton, Nick Wiggs and fiancee; Christina Carlson of Ozark, Mo., and Adam Wiggs of Alton; nine great-grandchildren, Levi, Shelbi, Brandon, Matthew, Alison, Dominique, Hannah, Daniel and McKenzie; six brothers and sisters, Bud Parks of Iowa, Jessie Frazier of Iowa, Gladys Johnson of Kansas City, Kan., Jerry Richardson of Alton, Carolyn Lynch of Alton, and Dick Richardson of Alton; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five brothers and sisters, Lela Mae Parks, Jimmy Parks, Little Jerry Richardson, Sonny Richard- son and Maxine Dickey.
The funeral services were held June 7 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with burial in the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Alton with Keith Sifford officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
Active pallbearers were Greg Bridges, Joe Bridges, Bradley Bridges, Jason Bridges, Nick Wiggs, Adam Wiggs, Paul Smith and Larry Girdley.
