Arnold joins clinic

Wednesday, June 6, 2007

Nurse Practitioner A. Renee Arnold has joined Ozarks Medical Center's Mammoth Spring Medical Clinic, located at 260 Main Street.

The longtime nurse practitioner most recently worked at Salem Clinic in Salem.

At the Mammoth Spring clinic, she works with longtime physician, Harry Kelly, DO.

"The staff is very dedicated, always going above and beyond," said Arnold about her new position. "It's family taking care of family."

Arnold is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center. She holds a master of nursing science degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, and a bachelor of nursing science degree from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.

Previously, she worked as a staff nurse at the University Hospital in Little Rock, and as a charge nurse in Pediatric Intensive Care at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. At Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, she worked as a shift supervisor. She also served as a quality assurance/risk management coordinator at Fulton County Hospital in Salem.

The Mammoth Spring Clinic is the first satellite clinic of Ozarks Medical Center. It continues to operate under the auspices of OMC.

"I've been really impressed with Ozarks Medical Center from the pharmacy techs to those in education services," Arnold said.
