Lila Mae Hardin of Camp, Ark., daughter of the late Robert Lee Stone and Emma Anna Strauser Stone, was born April 12, 1922, in Kossee, Texas. She died May 22, 2008, in Viola, Ark., at the age of 86.
She was united in marriage to Monroe Benton Hardin on Nov. 12, 1940, in Salem, Ark. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by: one daughter, Joyce Gay; seven sons and daughters-in-law, Earby and Ann Hardin, J.L. and Linda Hardin, Harold and Lavada Hardin, David and Donna Hardin, Tom and Vickie Hardin, Jerry and Patty Hardin and Marvin and Connie Hardin; 21 grandchildren; 17 grandchildren-in-law; 41 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her husband; her parents; two sisters; two brothers; one son-in-law, Harold Reynolds; one grandson; three great-great-grandchildren; and one grandson-in-law.
Funeral services were held May 24 at the Camp Methodist Church with burial following in the Camp Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem, Ark.
