A Poughkeepsie woman was cited for her role in a two-vehicle collision involving a propane truck in Ash Flat May 27.
Lorraine Paluck, 80, pulled her 2006 Ford Taurus out of the west Wal-Mart exit to travel east on Highway 62/412, said Trooper Ben Rapert of the Arkansas State Police.
After leaving the Wal-Mart exit, Paluck pulled into the turn lane and continued across the other two lanes of traffic and into the path of an eastbound Stateline Propane truck driven by Terry Pryor, Rapert said.
The propane truck then struck Paluck's car in the right front fender with the left front bumper of the truck, Rapert said. Both vehicles then skid across two curbs causing further damage and came to rest in the east entrance of O'Reilly's Auto Parts, Rapert said.
The wreck occurred around 3:40 p.m. No injuries were reported.
Paluck was wearing her seatbelt. She was cited for improper lane change. The car was towed from the scene.
The wreck did not cause the truck to leak fuel of any sort, Rapert said.
