Janet Marlene Wiles Bennett of Cherokee Village,
Ark., daughter of Marie Gayman Taylor and the late Col. Mark W. Gayman was born Dec. 18, 1947, in Tulsa, Okla.. She died June 28, 2008, at her son's home in Agnos, Ark., at the age of 60.
She was united in marriage to Manoid Wiles in 1969 in Jonesboro. They had six children. She later married Jackie Bennett. She was a nurse and was employed by Ash Flat Convalescent Home for many years. She attended Peace Valley Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jackie Bennett of Cherokee Village; her children, Lori Sims and husband, Jake of Leachville, Junior Wiles and wife, Valerie, of Agnos, Misti Young and husband, Johnny, of Wideman and Carla Selvey and husband, Eddie, of Calico Rock; her mother, Marie Taylor, of Phoenix, Ariz.; her brothers and sisters, Gary Guiltner of Salem, Joe Gayman of Brownsville, Texas, Charlene Gayman of Pensacola, Fla., Freda Gayman of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mark Gayman Jr. of Bassett, Ark.; 11 grandchildren, Eric Grass, Jerry Sims, Michael Allen, David Sims, Cc Wiles, Angel Sims, Payne Sims, Kayley Young, Chafin Owens, Madison Wiles and Morgan Wiles; six great-grandchildren; other friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her twin sons, Danny and Mark Wiles; her sister Grace Guiltner; and her father.
Graveside services were held July 1 at the Guiltner Family Cemetery in Salem with burial under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
