Altha Fay Frazier, 86, of Cave City, Ark., died July 9, 2008, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born Nov. 4, 1921, in Lebanon, Mo., the last of eight children of Jacob and Rachel Varner Detherow.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.
Survivors include: three sons, Chuck Frazier of Hot Springs, Don Frazier of Sherwood and Richard Frazier of Maumelle; one daughter, Brenda Frazier Owen of Weatherford, Texas; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Elmer Frazier; four brothers, Clarence Detherow, Leonard Detherow, Melvin Detherow and Everette Detherow; and five sisters, Alma Barnes, Mina Jernigan, Ora Pectol, Dorothy Detherow and Jesse Phillips.
Funeral services were held July 12 at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Wayne Goodman officiating. Burial followed in the Cave City Cemetery located in Cave City with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Chuck Frazier Jr., Mike Frazier, Shane Frazier, Chris Frazier, Justin Frazier and Vince Frazier.
