Graveside services for Robert Dean (Bob) Rogers, 62, of West Plains, Mo., was held July 8 at the Cotton Creek Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
He died July 5, 2008, in St. John's Regional Medical Center, Springfield, Mo. He was born Nov. 25, 1945, in Myrtle, Mo., to Shelby and Artie Mae Johnson Rogers.
He attended the Couch Schools. Mr. Rogers left the Ozarks at an early age moving to Tulsa, Okla., to find work; there, he met and married Linda Johnson. He became the maintenance supervisor for Facet, a maker of oil and filters until his retirement, at which time, he moved to West Plains.
He is survived by: two sons, Robbie Rogers, wife, Laura and children, Jacob, Tyler and Chance and Bryan Rogers, wife, Crystal and son, Bryce; two brothers, James Rogers and Glen Rogers, wife, Becky; three sisters, Reba Ratliff, Jessie York, husband, Doyle and Sue Campbell, husband, Kenneth; his aunts, Berniece Glenn and Barb Tallant; many nieces; nephews; and his special friends, Ronnie and Carol Williams.
His parents and one infant child, Sterling, preceded him in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cotton Creek Cemetery or charity of choice and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains, Mo.
