Fair schedule announced

The Sharp County Fair is here and the carnival gets underway Wednesday night with armbands on sale for $15.

The swine and dog show will be held Wednesday. Chickens and cows check in on Wednesday.

First National Banking Company is sponsoring Senior Day from 10 a.m. until noon with free ice cream on Thursday. Also on Thursday will be the sheep and goat show at 6 p.m., the talent show will be at 7 p.m. and Charles Landers Gospel group will perform after the talent show.

Friday night is the cattle show starting at 4 p.m. and HeyWyre Band playing all kinds of music, will perform after the beauty contest.

Saturday will be kids day at 10 a.m. and the awards banquet will be at noon and the Arkansas Junior Cattlemen's show will start at 2 p.m. The Billy Joe French Band will perform at 8 p.m.

The rodeo will be held Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m.

Carnival starts Wednesday and continues through Saturday night.

There will be drawings each night from purchased admission tickets.

I think you could have listed the hours for each day and the cost of admission would have also been nice. Remember the 5 Ws of journalism?
