Donald Joe May, 66, of Ravenden, Ark., died Aug. 2, 2008, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark. He was born March 12, 1942, in Mammoth Spring, Ark., the son of Charles P. May and Myrtle Irene (Angotti) May.
He worked many years as a truck driver.
He was united in marriage to Janet Honeycutt on Oct. 22, 1976.
He was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church.
He is survived by: his wife, Janet of the home; two sons, Danny Joe May of Thayer, Mo., and James Joseph May of Henrietta, Okla.; three daughters, Renee Dawn Sago of St. Louis, Mo., Rhonda Louise Robbins of Benton and Angela Dawn Green of Ravenden; eight grandchildren; many nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and one sister, Virginia May Garner.
Funeral services were held Aug. 5 at the Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland, Ark., with Bro. Charles McKendree officiating. Burial followed in the Field Creek Cemetery in Mammoth Spring.

Pallbearers were Timmy Corp, Brian Honeycutt, Terry Honeycutt, Tony Hyde, Ronnie Duglar, and Bob Matthews.
