Bernard L. Robinson, died Aug. 11, 2008, at the age of 85, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Ark. He was the son of Byron and Catherine Robinson of Vincennes, Ind., and Estelle and Ben Lee of Chicago, Ill.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy and saw action during World War II.
After his military service he worked for the FAA as an air traffic controller in Aurora, Ill. When he retired from the FAA he became an owner/operator of a McDonald's restaurant in Paramount, Calif., for 10 years.
He was a member of the Cherokee Village Men's Golf Association and a member of Highland Elks 2539.
He is survived by: his wife of 62 years, Natalie; three sons, Barry L. of Tracy, Calif., Terry L. of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Timothy J. of Shreveport, La.; and one granddaughter, Kristen Marie Robinson; a sister, Helen Lee Bates and her husband, Wes; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and two brothers, Richard B. and William J. Robinson.
