Paul Dean Hall, son of the late Howard Ray Hall and Virtie Davis Hall, was born Dec. 7, 1936, in Oxford, Ark. He died Aug. 14, 2008 in Mountain Home, Ark., at the age of 72.
He was united in marriage to Peggy Nell Killian on June 8, 1955, in Melbourne, Ark., and to this union two daughters were born. He was a barber in Little Rock for 48 years. He owned the Meadowcliff Barbershop for 35 of those years.
He retired in 2004 and moved to Melbourne, near his hometown.
He attended the First Baptist Church in Melbourne.
Paul is survived by: his wife, Peggy Hall of the home; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Cinda Jane and Doug Rich of Little Rock and Paige and Paul Martin of Cabot; one brother, Vick Hall of Mablevale; three sisters, Melba June Hall Bryant of Melbourne, Dottie Hall McWherter of Melbourne and Linda Hall Owens of Searcy; six grandchildren, Amanda Rich Kella and husband Andy, Whitney Rich Lammers and husband Chris, Austin Douglas Rich, Natalie Paige Martin, Audrey Jane Rich and Ashley Nicole Martin; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held Aug. 17 at Melbourne First Baptist Church with Ricky Burke officiating. Burial followed at Oxford Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Melbourne or the Hospice House of the Ozarks in Mountain Home, Ark.
Pallbearers were Gary Duggins, Bob Flowers, Gary Gifford, Ronnie Hall, Bob Martin and Paul Gray Miller.
