Bernard L. Robinson, 85, died Aug. 11, 2008, at Fulton County Hospital.
He was the son of Byron and Catherine Robinson of Vincennes, Indiana, and Estelle and Ben Lee of Chicago, Ill.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy and saw action during WWII, after his military service he worked for the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller in Aurora, Ill. When he retired from the FAA he became an owner/operator of a McDonald's restaurant in Paramount, Calif., for 10 years.
He was a member of the Cherokee Village Men's Golf Association and a member of the Highland Elks #2539.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and two brothers, Richard B. and William J. Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife, Natalie; three sons, Barry L of Tracy, Calif., Terry L of Colorado Springs Colo., and Timothy J. of Shreveport, La.; one granddaughter Kristen Marie Robinson; a sister Helen Lee Bates and her husband Wes; many nieces and nephews; other relations and friends
A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's of Arkansas.
