Melody Danyell Hooks

Lindy Brindley and James Hooks Jr. of Cherokee Village, Ark., announce the birth of a daughter on Aug. 19, 2008, at White River Medical Center in Batesville. The baby has been named Melody Danyell Hooks. She weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces. Her sibling is Vanessa Hooks.

Grandparents are Connie and James Hooks, Sarah and Robert Barnes, and Daniel Levasseur.

Great-grandparents are Charlotte Bell, Doris Levasseur, Levina Hooks and Ruthy Smith.
