Alma Lee Juanita Looney Moore, 79, of Hardy, Ark., died Aug. 23, 2008. She was born the daughter of Edgar and Lillie Lee (Collins) Looney on March 26, 1929, in Huntsville, Ala.
She is survived by: five sons, Leman (Barbara) Moore and Kenneth (Charlotte) Moore both of Hardy, Ark., Clint (Jeanetta) Moore of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., Vernon (Sally) Moore and Steve Moore both of Goshen, Ind.; three daughters, Juanita (Don) Honey of Hardy, Linda (Gary) Gobeyn of Pangburn, and Teresa (Michael) Burnett of Bartlett, Tenn.; three step-children, Carroll Moore, Jimmie Moore and Brenda Roach; 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Joyce of Goshen, Ind.; two brothers, Alfred and Houston of Goshen, Ind.; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her first husband, Aaron (Mutt) Moore; her second husband, Gene Moore; one son, Danny; one daughter, Shirley; a grandchild, Debbie; a step-child, Marilyn Eversol; nine brothers, Henry, Dwight, Junior, Dalton Richard, Glen-Dale, Edgar Jr., Vernon and Melvin; three sisters, Mary Ruth, Flossie and Frances.
Funeral services were held Aug. 26 at the Pioneer Free Will Baptist Church in Ash Flat with Bro. Elmer Holiman officiating. Burial followed in the Highland Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
