Ollie Blevins Painter of Salem, Ark., daughter of the late Taylor Wood Stuart and Mary Elizabeth Franks Stuart, was born Dec. 28, 1913, in Izard County, Ark. She died Aug. 24, 2008, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Ark., at the age of 94.

She was united in marriage to William Henry Blevins on Aug. 2, 1930. to this union two children were born. She later married Floyd Painter. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Union, Ark.

Survivors include: her daughter, Eva Roberts and husband Boyd of Camp; her son, William Powell Blevins and wife Donna of Salem; grandchildren, Jan Brown and husband Sonny, Terry Berry, Nick Blevins and wife Debbie, Ronnie Blevins and wife Donna, Sheila Beard and husband Jeff and Brandi Capps; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Cecil Stuart of Salem; a sister, Thelma Bryant of Salem; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: both husbands; a son-in-law, Noel Beard; two brothers, Brooks and Olan Stuart; her sister, Ruth Crain; and her father and mother.

Funeral services were held Aug. 27 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Union. Burial followed in the Union Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem, Ark.
