Ministerial Alliance to host dinner for Cats

Thursday, September 4, 2008

The Ministerial Alliance is hosting the Thayer Bobcats' game-night dinners when the team is at home this fall.

There will be a spaghetti dinner Sept. 5 from 3:15-3:45 at Chapel Hill Baptist (across from the old elementary school), provided by 1st Assembly of God and Chapel Hill Baptist.

"We support the spirit of unity in our community and wish the Bobcats a great new season," said the Ministerial Alliance president.

"This is just another example of our community supporting Thayer Schools," said Thayer principal Kevin Hedden.

A VERY SPECIAL thanks to the SouthMissourian Newspaper for writing this article.

It's refreshing to know that our newspaper is willing to inform Thayer residents that there's still many churches in our area that believe it's possible to seek common ground and set an example of unity to this community and others in our area. To God be the glory...!

Keep up the good work, SouthMissourian!!

Abel Perez [Ministerial Alliance President]
