Phyllis Ann Shorrock, 74, of Evening Shade, Ark., formerly of LeHigh Acres, Fla., died Sept. 13, 2008, at her home. She was born April 15, 1934, at Muncie, Ind.
She was a nurse, president of the Ladies Auxiliary IAM Union Local 368, past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 3938 and a member of the VFW and American Legion. She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include: her husband Theodore, "Ted" Shor-rock; one son, Alan Shorrock and wife, Madonna of South Alabama; one daughter, Leslie Cunningham and husband Roy of Blakely, Ga.; eight grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents and one brother.
Graveside services were held Sept. 17 at the Evening Shade Cemetery located in Evening Shade with Chaplain Lester Lee Hendrix officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
