Erma Louise Todd Ball died Sept. 15, 2008, in West Vue Nursing Center. She was born March 23, 1917, in Koshkonong, Mo., the daughter of the late Harry and Florence Humes Todd.
On April 3, 1936, she was married at West Plains, Mo., to Fred William Ball who preceded her in death on April 14, 2001.
She was a member of the Koshkonong Assembly of God Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years.
She is survived by: four children, Hazel Shirk, husband, Charles of Bingen, Wash., Roberta Maguffee, husband, Sonny of Salem, Bill Ball, wife, Debbie and Marvin Ball, wife, Mary Kay, both of West Plains; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Exie Hollis, Kansas City, Kan., Clara Butler, Gladstone, Mo., Marie Riggs of Oak Grove, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; one daughter, Vera Puckett; one grandchild; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister.
Funeral services were held Sept. 18 in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Union Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Union Hill Cemetery or Gideon Bible Society and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home in West Plains.
