Judith Ann (Judy) King, 60, of Thayer, Mo., daughter of Stella Mae (Martin) Thomas and the late J. N. Maguffee, was born on Oct. 27, 1947, in Glencoe, Ark. She died Sept. 25, 2008, at her home in Thayer, Mo.
Judy was united in marriage to Carl Lee King on Jan. 13, 1964, at Salem, Ark.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Salem First Baptist Church.
She is survived by: her husband, Carl King of Thayer, Mo.; daughter, Tammy Massey and husband David of Thayer; mother, Stella Thomas of Salem, Ark.; three grandchildren, Colin Smith, Kyndal Smith and Heather Massey; two brothers, Bob Gregory and wife Wanda of Gallatin, Tenn., and Steve Maguffee of Salem, Ark.; one sister, Kathy Phillips and husband Joe of Anchorage, Alaska; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her father; and a son, Greg King.
Funeral services were held Sept. 29 at the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Ark., with Bro. John Hodges officiating.
Interment followed in the Salem Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Barker Funeral Home in Salem.
Pallbearers were David King, John King, Matthew King, Dustin Maguffee, Tyler Maguffee and Terry Fulfer.
