Sherman Horner, 46, of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and use or possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia Oct. 3. Both charges are class "C" felonies. A search warrant was executed at the Horner residence Oct. 2 where Horseshoe Bend Police officers discovered approximately 1/2 pound of suspected marijuana and several items of drug paraphernalia. Horner was released from the Izard County Detention Center Oct. 3 after posting a $25,000 bond. Lt. Carl Boles was the investigating officer.
Joseph Walrath, 40, of Mountain Home, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after Horseshoe Bend Police officers were called to a disturbance. Shane Boles was the arresting officer.
