Michael Scott Rogers was born Nov. 19, 1950, in Pueblo, Colo., the son of Wilburn Rogers and Dorothy Davis Rogers. He died Oct. 7, 2008, in West Plains, Mo., at the age of 57.
He was united in marriage May 26, 1972, at Thayer, Mo., to Kathryn Robertson.
He was a mechanic and was employed by Sellers Shop in Thayer, Mo., retiring after 27 years.
He is survived by: his wife, Kathryn Rogers of the home in Mammoth Spring; two daughters, Angela Gail Dickey of Mammoth Spring and Jennifer Michelle Baldridge of Mammoth Spring; four granddaughters, Zoe Watson, Amber Dickey, Tracee Dickey and Emmalee Baldridge; two sisters, Phyllis Henry of Mammoth Spring and Velma Whiteside of Mammoth Spring; two nieces; three nephews; several cousins; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; one nephew, Danny Henry; one special uncle, Milburn Rogers; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carl and Edith Robertson.
Visitation was Oct. 8 in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel with arrangements under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
