Steven Carroll Jr., 26, of Horseshoe Bend, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of instruments of crime, carrying a weapon and obstruction of governmental operations Oct. 6. The arrest was made after Horseshoe Bend Police officers were called to a disturbance. Tamara Roberts was the arresting officer assisted by Lt. Carl Boles and Ben Kittrell.
A 17-year-old, of Horseshoe Bend, was cited for 3rd degree assault Oct. 8. The charge stems from an altercation in the parking lot of Neighborhood Market on Oct. 6. The juvenile is to appear in court Nov. 7. Ben Kittrell was the investigating officer.
Douglas Kunz, 45, of Horseshoe Bend, was charged with DWI, failure to maintain control, knocking down signs and failure to remain at an accident scene Oct. 12. The charges are the result of a one-vehicle accident on South Pine Ridge and Lynwood. Shane Boles was the investigating officer.
