Jimmie Buckner, 71, of Ash Flat, Ark., died Oct. 15 at her residence.
She was born Feb. 7, 1937, in Harland County, Ky., the daughter of Fred Clayton Shoupe and Nancy (Middleton) Shoupe.
She was united in marriage to Roland Buckner on Feb. 2, 1984, in Michigan. She worked for many years as a nurse.
She is survived by: her husband, Roland of the home; four sons, Jimmy Buckner of Colorado, Phil Reynolds of Michigan, Fred Buckner of Cherokee Village and Franklin Alvin Reynolds of Michigan; two daughters, Nancy Russell of Michigan and Terryann Loerzel of Ash Flat; one brother, Franklin Shoupe of Florida; two sisters, Jonnie Snay of Michigan and Ann Martin of Michigan; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: one sister, Dorothy Ryan; and one brother, Clayton Shoupe.
Memorial services were held Oct. 18 at the Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland with Bro. Lee Hendrix officiating. Arrangements were made under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Ark.
Memorials are asked to be made to the Legacy Hospice.
