Florence Ozella Clark Campbell, 72, of Evening Shade, Ark., died Oct. 23, 2008, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born Aug. 21, 1936, at Evening Shade, Ark., to Ernest and Edith Easley Clark.
She was a homemaker and was of the Assembly of God faith.
Survivors include: one son, John Dale Kennedy of the home; two step-sons, Chris Campbell of Burleson, Texas, and J.D. Campbell Jr. of Pensacola, Fla.; one daughter, Karen Thurmond of Paragould; one step-daughter, Ladonna Rogers of Paragould, two brothers, Jerry Clark and Douglas Clark both of Paragould; two sisters, Betty Branch of Evening Shade and Caroline Grigsby of Batesville; several grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, J.D. Campbell; one stepdaughter, Bonnie Blackwell; one brother, Paul Franklin Clark; two infant brothers, Charles Edward Clark and Johnny Wayne Clark; and one sister, Gladys Ann Clark Shirley.
Funeral services were held Oct. 28 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating.
Burial followed in the Powell's Chapel Cemetery located near Poughkeepsie with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Bradley Grigsby, Louis Calhoun, Lee Luvins, Donald Gray, Jim Timmons and Heath Rodgers.
Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Easley, Danny Robertson, Dale Jones, Michael Clark and Casey Clark.
