Paul Eve Cash, 84, of Mammoth Spring, Ark., was born Dec. 24, 1923, in Cardwell, Mo., and died Oct. 29, 2008, at Shady Oaks Healthcare Center in Thayer, Mo.
He served in the Army during World War II, and was later a mechanic and a carpenter. He spent several years building apart-ments in North Little Rock, Ark.
He is survived by: his wife, Thelma (Pickett) Cash of the home; one daughter, Lottie Simpson and husband Jim of Vilonia, Ark.; adopted son and grandson Johnny P. Cash of the home; adopted son and great-grandson Johnny E. Cash of the home; one step-son, Meldon Doan of the home; three grandchildren, Jimmy Paul Simpson and wife Nora of Greenbrier, Ark., Stacey Allred and husband Joe of Vilonia, Ark., and James Allen Simpson of Vilonia, Ark.; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby Conners, Betty Cash, and Agnus Cash; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, William and Mary Jane (Daily) Cash; and one son, Gary Paul Cash.
Graveside services were held Nov. 1 at the Riverside Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, Ark. Arrangements were under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, Mo.
