Lee Bailey, 82, of Hardy, Ark., died Oct. 31, 2008, at her residence. She was born April 9, 1926, in Steele, Mo., to the late Elmer and Martha (Huffman) Funderburk. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by: her daughter, Barbara and John Homod of Hardy; two sons, John "Steve" and Brenda Bailey of Donalsonville, Ga., Doug and Geri Bailey of Hamlet, N.C.; three sisters, Carolyn Morales of Oxnard, Calif., Mollie Brownfield of Cedar Park, Texas, Francis Funderburk of Steele, Mo.; two brothers, Robert Funderburk of Elburn, Ill., Virgil Funderburk of Opelika, Ala.; six grandchildren, Stephanie and husband Todd Trawick of Franklin Wis., Doug and wife Mary Katheryn of Elgin Texas, Kelly and husband Jason Bailey of Caribbean Islands, Wendy and husband David Lute of Hardy, Amy and Steve Charbauski of Highland and John Homod of Highland; 10 great-grandchildren; and a special care giver, Robin DeBoser.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, J.E. (Buddy) Bailey; her parents; grandson, Jim Homod; brother, Rufus Funderburk; and a baby sister.
Funeral services were held at Heath Oak Hill Chapel Nov. 3 with Bro. Hershel Conley officiating. Interment followed at Baker Cemetery in Ozark Acres.
Pallbearers were Steve Bailey, Doug Bailey, Doug Bailey Jr., John C. Homod, John D. Homod, Cody Homod, Robby Trawick and Todd Trawick.
Honorary Pallbearers were Larry Swetnam, Terry Bryant, Don Reed, Sam Bradley and Shaine Keesler.
