Frank Herbert Pole was born Jan. 23, 1918, in Cleveland, Ohio, and died Oct. 12, 2008, at the age of 90.
He was united in marriage June 22, 1940, at Cleveland, Ohio, to Mildred Irene Micksch who preceded him in death on Nov. 25, 2000.
He was a welder and an auto mechanic. Along with his wife, he owned and operated a mobile home park in Florida for many years.
He was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by: his daughter, Maxine Helen Pole Roberts and husband, Paul James of Thayer, Mo.; one grandson, Jimmy Fitzgerald Jr. of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; one foster-grandson, Joseph Sacara of Thayer; one sister, Berdie Nichols of Cleveland, Ohio; a special friend, Anita Caldwell of Koshkonong, Mo.; and many other friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents Frank and Anna Pole; and his wife, Mildred Irene Pole.
A memorial service was held Nov. 12 at the Stateline Pentecostal Church in Thayer with Bro. Wayne Hurst officiating.
