Izard County's Preston Harmon came up just short on a running floater from eight feet out that could have sent the game into a third OT.
Wayne Coffey paced Mammoth Spring with 20 points, while Garrett Wooldridge added 14 points.
Houston Cooper had seven points and handed out four assists for the junior Bears. Austin Hite had four points and Jay Combs two.
Trenton Hatman tossed in a game-high 19 points to lead the junior Cougars.
Jordan Everett and Josh Ball added eight points apiece for Izard County.
Kyle King logged six points and Preston Harmon two points for th junior Cougars.
In junior girls' play, the Lady Cougars won 35-23.
Amber Hall led the junior Lady Cougs with 12 points.
Kaydie Campbell logged 10 and Stephanie Shrable six for Izard County.
Jessica Moore finished with four points and Sami Wagner three for Izard County.
Mammoth Spring was paced by Kaitlin Haney's seven points.
Kendal Rogers had six, Jamie Bellows five, Cheyenne Honeycutt three and Shy Smoot two.
