Deborah Lynn Croney was born Aug. 3, 1951, in Paragould, Ark., the daughter of J.B. Perry and Mary Jane McDonald Perry. She died Nov. 8, 2008, in Mountain Home, Ark., at the age of 57.
She was united in marriage in 1967 at Paragould, Ark., to Kenneth Ray West who preceded her in death June 15, 1984. She was united in marriage Dec. 31, 1985, at Thayer, Mo., to Leroy Croney.
She was a homemaker, and an active member of the Riverview General Baptist Church in Mammoth Spring.
She is survived by: her husband, Leroy Croney of the home in Myrtle, Mo.; her children, Kent Alan West and wife, Lynette of Paragould, Ark., Brandi Sue West of Brookland, Ark., Mitchell Lee Croney and wife, Melba of Moberly, Mo., and Melinda Ann Croney of Alton, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Johnathan McIntare, Anthony McIntare, Allicia Croney, Mary Croney, Whitney West, Hunter West, Caden Cooper and Riley Cooper; one brother, Butch Perry and wife, Nancy of Jonesboro, Ark.; four sisters, Carole Martin and husband, Earl of Myrtle, Mo.; Wilma Stewart and husband, Henry of Fort Smith, Ark., Pat Sartain of Jonesboro, Ark., and Vickie Walden and husband, Dan of Paragould; several nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her first husband; two daughters, Samantha Lynn West and Ronica Lynn Croney; and two brothers-in-law, Charles Sartain and Joe McClarty.
Funeral services were held Nov. 11 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer, Mo., with Bro. James Johnson and Bro. Greg Watson officiating. Burial followed in the Linwood Cemetery at Paragould, Ark., with arrangements under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
